CT Weather: Heat Wave Returns Tuesday, To Last Several Days
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook, which will cover most of the upcoming week. Here are the new details.
CONNECTICUT — It will be another gray day on Monday, as there will be plenty of clouds and some isolated rain showers. Once the sun reappears Tuesday, temperatures will soar into the 90s and the heat remains through the end of the week.
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the entire state in anticipation of the hot and humid conditions.
For southern Connecticut, the weather service said, "Hot and humid conditions will result in heat indices in the mid 90s to lower 100s Tuesday through Friday."

For northern Connecticut, the weather service said, "There is high confidence in oppressive heat and humidity Wednesday through Friday. Afternoon heat indices between 98 and 104 degrees are expected. This will eventually require Heat Headlines for most of the region."
