Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Southern Connecticut

SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT — A Hazardous Weather Outlook and a Dense Fog Advisory have been issued for the coast of Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex, and New London counties until 6 p.m. tonight.

The National Weather Service says, "Visibility of a quarter mile or less in dense fog...* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

"Low pressure moving through will bring rain and perhaps some drizzle across the region today. Temperatures will be on the mild side, as high temperatures climb to about 10 degrees above normal. Rain chances diminish through tonight, with even some snow possibly mixing in north of the city. High pressure builds in for a dry, but breezy Sunday. High temperatures will return closer to normal.
