He Will Help Anyone Who Needs It: Milford Hero

MILFORD, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Military: Vietnam Veteran

Relationship to nominee: Father

Reason for recognition: My father is my hero. He has worked hard for his family all my life. Often working 3 jobs. He also volunteered at the American Legion. He is the president of the Vietnam Veterans chapter here in Milford. He used to be in charge of the parades here in town

One thing to know: My father is very proud of his country and vets. He will help anyone who needs help.
