Update: Milford PD Clearing Scene After High St. Investigation

Update 8:40 p.m.: Police posted the following update, "Our officers are in the process of clearing out of the High Street/I-95 area after assisting with the investigation. Thank you for the cooperation!"

Original post: MILFORD, CT — Police are asking people to avoid the area of High Street near I-95 exit 37 due to an active investigation.

There is a heavy police presence in the area and Milford police are assisting with an investigation, police tweeted around 7 p.m. Wednesday.
