Hebert Jewelers has announced it's going out of business -- and plans a huge going-out-of-business sale.
That means jewelry will be marked down up to 70 percent. The exact date of the sale remained unclear, but the announcement to the public is scheduled for Friday.
The owners, Joe and Louise Hebert, have been in business in downtown Milford since 1953.

In an email, they said, "In life there are choices, and we have now decided to close this chapter in our lives."
