Helene Myra Williams, of Milford, passed away on March 13, 2025.

In her free time, she was a devoted cat mom, a dedicated New York Mets fan, and an avid game show watcher.

Helene Myra Williams, 69, of Milford, beloved wife of Howard Williams, passed away on March 13, 2025. Born on October 28, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Irving and Toby (Taxier) Miller.

A graduate of Albert Einstein School of Nursing in Philadelphia, Helene fulfilled her lifelong passion of caring for others as a nurse for over 40 years at Milford Hospital and Saint Vincent’s Hospital, where she spent the majority of her career in the operating room. In her free time, she was a devoted cat mom, a dedicated New York Mets fan, and an avid game show watcher. Most notably, she was a frequent shopper at all grocery stores, especially the Stop & Shop in Milford.
In addition to her loving husband, Helene is survived by her stepdaughters, Wendy Williams, and Stephanie Niles; her grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Astrid, Nicholas, and Gabriel; her brother, Todd (Linda) Miller; her nieces, Taylor and Jordyn; many special cousins, including Phyllis Evarts and Thea (Robert) Alfano, of whom she was especially close, and close friend Nadine (Gary) Kaml. Helene was also predeceased by her grandmother, Sue “Bubbie” Taxier.
Friends and family may call on THIS SUNDAY, March 16, 2025 from 11:30am to 2pm at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD, CT. A Memorial Service will begin at 12:30pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at pancan.org, or a local animal shelter.
