Here's How Much Back Taxes Is Owed To Milford

The city has contracted a company to ensure people pay their back taxes which totals into the millions.

MILFORD, CT — For the fifth straight year Milford residents tax rate has decreased and one of the key reasons for that is collecting taxes owed.

And to the extent the city has hired TaxServ Capital Services, LLC to help ensure the city's tax collection rate remains high, according to the New Haven Register.

More than $2.7 million is currently owed to the city of Milford in back taxes and that number stretches to $7.5 million with interest, the New Haven Register reports.
