Police said the man kept trying to return to the popular downtown restaurant even after police officers got involved.

MILFORD, CT — A highly intoxicated Guilford man was thrown out of the Stonebridge Restaurant and wouldn't take no for an answer as he continued to try to get back inside even when police officers responded, police said.
Milford police said they encountered Ian Heriot, 23, of Edge Hill Road in Guilford, at 11:50 p.m. on Saturday after he had been ejected from the popular downtown restaurant.
Police said Heriot was "highly intoxicated and causing a disturbance inside the restaurant." He ignored officers instructions to leave the area and continued to scream profanities as he tried to push his way past officers to get back inside the establishment, police said.
