Holiday Shopping Market Returns To Milford Green This Weekend

MILFORD, CT — Shoppers looking for unique holiday gifts will have an opportunity to browse merchandise from independent businesses when Popshop Market returns to the Milford Green on Saturday, Nov. 7.

The outdoor shopping event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring independent boutiques, artists, designers and small businesses from the region.

Shoppers can browse women's clothing, jewelry, accessories, home decor, original artwork, handcrafted goods and specialty gifts.

The market also provides an opportunity to support small businesses as the holiday shopping season gets underway.

"For so many of the businesses we work with, the holiday season is incredibly important," Ashley Daley, founder of Popshop Market, said in a statement. "These are passionate entrepreneurs who put so much into their brands, and our goal is to create an experience that introduces them to new customers while giving shoppers a reason to discover something special and shop small."

Founded in 2012, Popshop Market organizes shopping events throughout Fairfield and New Haven counties.

The Milford event kicks off a series of holiday markets scheduled for November and December.

Additional markets are planned for Westport on Nov. 15, Darien on Nov. 21 and Fairfield on Nov. 22 and Dec. 13.
