"During today's storm, MFD has staffed all apparatus with an additional Firefighter to assist with increased challenges and call volume," fire officials said. "The additional manpower on the scene today played a significant role in putting water on the large amount of fire present on arrival. Weather conditions are a huge factor during fire operations and snow has the potential to delay necessary tasks from getting completed. Crew worked together and safely to quickly perform...all necessary tasks."
