ID Released In Fatal Scooter Accident In Milford
A man died due to his injuries after a scooter crash in Milford, according to police.
MILFORD, CT — A man is dead following a scooter accident in Milford, according to police.
Police responded at 4:50 p.m. Sunday on a report of a serious motor vehicle accident with life-threatening injuries.
An investigation found that Johnny McNeil, 62, was operating a Roadrunner electric scooter. He was traveling south on Crown Street when he lost control of the scooter, resulting in a crash.

Firefighters treated him at the scene of the accident.
McNeil was then taken to Bridgeport Hospital, where he later died due to his injuries.
