Intoxicated Milford Woman Backed Her Vehicle Into a Residence: Police
Milford police say the incident occurred back in May and the local resident was charged on Thursday.

MILFORD, CT — A Milford woman is accused of backing her vehicle out of her driveway while intoxicated striking a residence across the street, police said.
Police said on Sept. 29, officers took custody of Nancy Derman, 51, of New Haven Avenue in regards to an active warrant for her arrest.
She is accused of driving her vehicle under the influence of alcohol on May 10 when she caused a motor vehicle accident by backing her vehicle out of her driveway across traffic striking the residence across the street, police said.

She is charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and unsafe backing.
She was released after posting a $1,000 bond and is due in Superior Court, Milford on Oct. 27.
