James Edward Boone, Jr. of Milford passed away unexpectedly on November 1, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Jennifer Boone whom he loved so very dearly. James was born June 25, 1967 in Bridgeport to James, Sr. and Jeanne Boone.

James worked in the food industry as a delivery driver. In his earlier years, James worked at the Windsock in Stratford, which was owned by his parents and is currently operated by his sister, Jennifer. He loved to fish and listen to rock music. He recently attended an AC/DC concert and visited the Grand Canyon which was one more check off his bucket list. James was an avid Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees fan who could always be found with a Dr. Pepper in hand.

James was a devoted dog dad to Lulu and Maize, who will miss him every day. Above all else, he loved his wife, Jennifer, their time together, and the many memories they made over the past 30 years.

James will be sadly missed by his wife, Jennifer; his parents: James, Sr. and Jeanne Boone; siblings: Jeff (Kasey) Boone, Jennifer (Steve) Cusick; brother-in-law Chris (Laura) Sturtevant; nephews: Tyler, Oliver, Owen, Chase, and Willow; and mother-in-law, June Sturtevant.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday November 14, 2026 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm at the GREGORY DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford with a Prayer Service at 6:30pm.
