Jonathan Law Graduate, 28, Dies After Fall, Mourned
The 2009 graduate was an accomplished wrestler and the Milford community is mourning his loss.

MILFORD, CT — The Milford community and beyond is mourning the death of former Jonathan Law High School student, Jonathan Castaneda, 28, who died after injuries sustained in a fall this past weekend, according to the Jonathan Law wrestling program. He was living in Stamford at the time of the accident.
Castaneda graduated from Law in 2009 and was an accomplished wrestler.
"Sad news, former Law wrestler Jon Castaneda/ 2009 has passed away due to injuries sustained from a fall this past weekend. Condolences to family, friends and former teammates. Gone but never forgotten. RIP Jon, love you kid," the Jonathan Law wrestling program said.

No other details were immediately available concerning the accident.
"Jon was part of the Jonathan Law family and our thoughts and prayers, along with our deepest condolences, go out to his family and friends," said Law Principal Fran Thompson.

The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home of Milford is handling the funeral arrangements.
They posted that "Jonathan Anthony Garcia Castaneda, age 28, of Stamford, died on Sunday, April 5, 2020. Jonathan was born in Bridgeport on October 30, 1991 to Leonardo and Rosario Garcia Castaneda. A Full obituary will be posted shortly."
