Jonathan Law High School Hires a New Football Coach
The new coach is no stranger to Milford or the high school.

Erik Larka called it a “coaching dream come true,” and the Milford native and Jonathan Law High School graduate is coming back home.
Larka, who led Bacon Academy to the playoffs and an 8-3 record last year, is the new head football coach at Jonathan Law High School, reports GameTimeCT’s Editor Sean Patrick Bowley.
Larka, who served as an assistant coach at Law previously, inherits a program that hasn’t had a winning season since 2007. A total of 18 people applied for the position after former coach Derrick Lewis decided to resign for a job elsewhere.
