July 4th Fireworks 2022 Near Milford

MILFORD, CT — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years. July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Milford, so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store this July 4 near Milford:

July 4 Festivities

What: Milford Start of Summer celebration. Event starts at 4 p.m. and two live bands will play until midnight.

Food trucks will be at the event and downtown restaurants will also be open.
Parking in the area will be very limited, but the city will have free shuttle service to and from the senior center, Wasson field and Harborside Middle School.

Shuttle service will start around 4 p.m. and end at 11:30 p.m.

Where: Lisman Landing, Milford

When: June 25 with a rain date of July 9. Fireworks show to begin around 9:15 p.m.

What: Stratford fireworks

Where: Short Beach Park, Stratford
When: June 30 at 9 p.m. with rain date of July 5.

What: Savin Rock Fireworks Spectacular in West Haven
Where: Bradley Point
When: Sept. 3 with rain date of Sept. 5. Fireworks to begin around 8 p.m.
