Katharine “Kit” Hinckley, 76 of Milford, passed away on April 24, 2025
A belove wife, mother and grandmother, Kit was almost always found in her kitchen and was known for her love of hosting and her baked goods.

Katharine “Kit” Hinckley, 76, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Roger Hinckley Jr., passed away on April 24, 2025. Born on March 24, 1949 in Indiana, she was the daughter of E. Howard and Mary Roorbach and was raised in Wilton, CT and attended The Kathleen Laycock School-now called Greens Farms Academy.
Kit was almost always found in her kitchen. She enjoyed cooking, hosting, and all around merry making. She loved a good glass of white Zinfandel, card games, and finding errors in her husband’s attempts to balance their check book. She was detail oriented, sharp tongued, and had impeccable taste. She thrived as a wife and a mother to two very independent daughters.
Kit was fond of reading, the coast of Maine, Marvel Movies, and thrift shopping. She was a master baker and always showed up to a function with at least two pies and dozen cupcakes. Her husband could not be trusted around her chocolate chip cookies.
