​Kenneth Bryant Hawkins, Sr., 86, passed away on July 30, 2025.

He was a proud 65 year Master Mason of Ansantawae Lodge No. 89, A.F. & A.M. in Milford, beloved husband, father & grandfather

Kenneth Bryant Hawkins, Sr., 86, passed away on July 30, 2025. He was born in Bridgeport, CT on January 7, 1939, the son of the late Ellsworth E. and Myrtle Fields Hawkins. He was a proud graduate of Milford High School Class of 1957 where as sophomores he met his classmate and the love of his life, Elaine Rogers Hawkins, to whom he was married for 68 years.

Ken is also survived by his beloved children Kenneth B. Hawkins, Jr. (Mary) of Vail, CO, William Mitchell Hawkins (Dilza) of Naugatuck, CT, David P. Hawkins (Mary) of Boston, MA, Susan L. Carpenter (Scott) of Milford, CT, and Christopher D. Hawkins (Christine) of Newmarket, NH. Ken is also survived by his grandchildren Jessica Hawkins of Moab, UT, Sara Hawkins of Bozeman, MT, Danielle Chinitz (Scott) of Middlebury, CT, Erik McCabe (Katie) of Middlebury, CT, Nicholas Hawkins of Washington, DC, Paul Hawkins of Boston, MA, Nicholas Carpenter of Pikesville, MD, Jonathan Carpenter of Ellicott City, MD, Kaleigh Morse (Dylan) of Biddeford, ME and Andrew Hawkins of Newmarket, NH. He is also survived by his great grandchildren Alivia, Gavin, and Julian McCabe, Lucca Magaraci, and Maddox and Bodie Morse; his brother, Wayne Hawkins of Maryland and sister, Laurel Soto (Chago) of Newtown, CT. Ken was predeceased by his sister, Beverly Noyes of Milford, CT.

Cremation will be handled by Cody White Funeral Home in Milford. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Masonicare Ashlar Village, Knapp Auditorium, 74 Cheshire Road, Wallingford, CT.
