Lauralton Hall Coach Elected to CHSCA Hall of Fame
Ten individuals will be inducted Nov. 19 at the Aqua Turf in Southington.

Theresa Napolitano, who built a softball dynasty at Amity High School and then won a state title at Lauralton Hall, is among 10 individuals who will be inducted into the Connecticut High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame this fall.
A Stonington High School graduate, Napolitano coached Amity to four Class LL softball championships in five years (2001, 2002, 2003 and 2005). Her teams finished seconbd in LL on six occasions from 1994 to 2006.
She left Amity to coach at Lauralton Hall in Milford, where she is chair of the science department. She led the Crusaders to a Class M softball title in 2008 and a runnerup finish two years later. She also guided the field hockey team to a Class S second place finish in 2011.

She will be enshrined in the Hall of Fame Nov. 19 at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington at 7 p.m.
Other inductees are coaches George Suitor (Manchester, East Catholic), Mike Giovinazzo (Bristol Eastern), Michael J. Fritch (Torrington), Gerry Chester (Ellis Tech, Griswold) and the late George Beaudry (Conard). Also being honored are coach/athletic director Jonathan Capone (West Haven), coach/athletic director David Schulz (Fairfield), longtime CAS-CIAC executive director Michael Savage and broadcaster George DeMaio, Jr.
