Lawrence E. "Larry" Warner, Jr.

Larry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Lawrence E. “Larry” Warner, Jr., age 88, of Milford, beloved husband of the late Bridget (McDermott) Warner, passed peacefully on January 20, 2026. Born in Bridgeport on November 15, 1937, he was the son of the late Lawrence E. Warner, Sr. and Bernice (Hamilton) Warner.

Larry was a proud U.S. Navy veteran and spent many years as a truck driver with M & G Convoy/Ryder before retiring. He had a lifelong passion for all things cars and trucks—from driving to mechanics—and could always be counted on to lend a hand, offer advice, or enjoy a good conversation about anything on wheels.

Larry shared a loving life and many adventures with his wife Bridget. Together, they were avid travelers, exploring near and far in their Winnebago camper. They were active members of Sam’s Club and the Connecticut Nutmeg Winnies Club. Larry also had a gentle heart and a special love for animals, especially dogs and cats.
