Lawsuit Alleges Discriminatory Actions At Milford DOT Garage
Three state DOT employees recently filed a lawsuit alleging racist and discriminatory conduct at a Milford garage.
MILFORD, CT — Three state Department of Transportation employees recently filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in New Haven alleging a number of racist and discriminatory acts have occurred at the Milford DOT garage, as reported by the Connecticut Post.
According to the Connecticut Post, some of the allegations listed in the lawsuit include "racially and ethnically derogatory statements" being made repeatedly and minority employees being made to do "menial and belittling tasks," including cleaning toilets.
