Beverly Jorgensen Obituary
Beverly Merrill Jorgensen, age 92, passed away on Saturday August 30, 2025 at Bridgeport Hospital with her family at her bedside. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Jorgensen.
Beverly was born on January 29, 1933 in Richmond, Maine the daughter of Dorothea M. Chetley and Orlando Merle Merrill. She was the original owner of The Lingerie Lady in Milford, CT. She was a founding member of the Downtown Business Association and an active member of the Milford Chamber of Commerce. Beverly was known for her big smile and her kindness to all.
A loving Mother and Grandmother, Beverly is survived by her daughter, Judith Finn of Milford, her son Dr. Keith Jorgensen (Elizabeth) of Bedford, NH, and her son Kevin Jorgensen (Margaret) of Wallingford; 9 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren. Her brother, Lawrence Merrill, Sr. predeceased her in 2019.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am Friday, September 12, 2025 in St. Ann Church, Milford (PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, West Haven. There are no calling hours.
