Lucille Ann Dlugos

Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Greatgrandmother

Lucille Ann (Dubois) Dlugos, age 92, of Cheshire and formerly of Milford, beloved wife of the late Richard Dlugos, Sr. for 60 years, died on Sunday, November 2, 2025. Lucille was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts on April 27, 1933 to the late Alfred and Delphine (LeGault) DuBois. She was a longtime parishioner at St Ann Church.

Lucille was a seamstress and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She volunteered at Beth-El Soup Kitchen in Milford, sang in the choir at St. Ann Church, participated in Relay for Life Walks through the American Cancer Society, and was a Special Education paraprofessional at Jonathan Law High School after her retirement.

Lucille also enjoyed camping and loved the beach. Her greatest accomplishments were being a loving wife and the best Mom to her 8 children.

Survivors include her children: Terry Sprecher (Jon) of Oregon, Michael of Mississippi, Steve of Oxford, Edward (Bozena) of Milford, John (Amy) of NY, Rita Croll (Chip) of New Hampshire, and Margaret Conley (Mike) of Virginia; 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren with another on the way, her brother Ernie Dubois of Wallingford formerly of Milford, and many dear nieces and nephews and by her two kitties, Rikki and Tavi. Lucille is predeceased by her son, Richard Dlugos Jr. and her sister Jeanne (Dubois) Chartier.

Family and friends may call on Friday November 7, 2025 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. at St. Ann Church (St. Raphael Parish), 501 Naugatuck Avenue, Milford. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Milford.

Family would like to thank the wonderful Nursing staff at Elim Park Health Care Center in Cheshire for their compassionate care during this past year, as well as, the private duty aides that assisted her while she had an apartment at Elim Park prior to her long term care.
