Macy's Employee Stole $1K Worth of Goods: Milford Police

Milford police say at 12:10 a.m. on Dec. 12 officers responded to Macy’s on a report of a shoplifter in custody.

Investigation led to the arrest of Tiffany Gause, 34, of Shelton Avenue in Hamden, who is accused of taking more than $1,000 worth of merchandise from Macy’s without paying for it, police said.

Gause was an employee at Macy’s when the incident occurred, police said.

She is charged with fourth-degree larceny and was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, Milford on Jan. 5.
