Connecticut Weather: Warming Trend For The Rest Of February
Beginning this week, some big weather changes are moving in and are expected to remain around for awhile in Connecticut.

If you're looking for snow anytime soon, sorry there doesn't appear to be any in Connecticut's weather forecast. And it's not just that, we're in for a signficant warming trend over the next couple of weeks. Could we end the month with no more snow? it's possible based on weather models.
Does that mean winter is over, definitely not as long-range forecasts say snow is still expected in Connecticut into spring. But we should enjoy this winter break before it inevitably returns. The real warmup begins fittingly enough on Valentine's Day.

The National Weather Service says a "cold front will move east of the area today, with a return to more seasonable temperatures in the upper 30s to lower 40s. There will be a slight chance of showers across Long Island and southeastern Connecticut this morning into the afternoon, but in general drier conditions will settle across the area as high pressure builds eastward. Seasonable conditions will continue tonight into tomorrow, with lows in the teens to mid 20s, and highs on Tuesday in the 30s."
