Major Company Laying Off Employees In Milford: Report

MILFORD, CT — Bic Corp. is laying off 25 workers at its Milford plant as lighter sales were down by more than 10 percent across the world, the Connecticut Post reports. The impacted employees produce lighter refills and some of the employees to be laid off are temporary workers, the Post reports.

No details were given concerning when the layoffs will actually occur.
