Man, 24, Dies After Falling Off Car: Milford Police

MILFORD, CT — A 24-year-old man died after falling from the top of a car early Tuesday morning in Milford, according to police.

A serious motor vehicle accident was reported around 12:20 a.m. in the area of Old Gate Lane near the I-95 North Exit 40 off ramp in Milford, according to police.

Police said the accident involved a 2002 Honda Civic that was being driven by a 29-year-old Stratford resident.

The driver was heading north on Old Gate Lane with passenger Cody Henry, 24, of Summerfield, Florida, riding on top of the vehicle, according to police.

Police said Henry fell from the vehicle in the area of the I-95 North Exit 40 off ramp. He was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital where he died from his injuries, according to police.
