Man Accused Of Choking, Biting Woman In Assaults: Milford Police
The man is accused of assaulting the woman in more than a dozen domestic violence incidents over the past year, according to police.
MILFORD, CT — A Milford man was arrested after police said he assaulted a woman in more than a dozen domestic violence incidents over the past year, according to police.
Police received a report on June 30 regarding a possible violation of a protective order.
Throughout the investigation, police learned that there had been several unreported domestic violence incidents over the past year.

Police said a total of 13 separate incidents were reported and documented that contained photographic and/or video evidence of the altercations. The victim had documented injuries from many of the encounters, according to police.
The 26-year-old man is accused of choking, biting, grabbing, pushing, and hitting the victim resulting in injury, according to police. He is also accused of threatening the victim along with throwing items at her and damaging items during some of the fights, police said.

The man was arrested Monday on a warrant. He was charged with 11 counts of second-degree breach of peace, 10 counts of third-degree assault, two counts of third-degree strangulation, and one count each of second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct.
He was released after posting a $25,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
