Man Accused Of Impersonating Officer In Scam, Milford Police Say
A man was arrested after he called a victim posing as a law enforcement officer, according to police.

MILFORD, CT — A man is accused of attempting to scam Milford residents by pretending to be a police officer, according to police.
Rodrickus Robinson, 32, of Atlanta, was taken into custody July 16 on an active arrest warrant.
He is accused of calling the victim and posing as a law enforcement officer, police said. He told the victim he was collecting payment so their family member could enter a program instead of being imprisoned.

Robinson was charged with fourth-degree larceny, impersonation of a police officer, and fourth-degree telephone fraud.
His bond was set at $5,000. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 13.
