Man Assaults CT State Marshal, Officers After Being Served Paperwork in Milford: Police
Police say the man is charged with multiple counts of assault on public safety personnel.

MILFORD, CT — Police say an East Haven man is accused of assaulting a Connecticut State Marshal and officers after being served paperwork in Milford.
Police said at 12 p.m. on Nov. 16 officers responded to a Lenox Avenue apartment on the report of an unwanted male.
Investigation led to the arrest of John Iaffaldano, 53, of Rock Street in East Haven, who after being served paperwork by a Connecticut State Marshal began to fight with the marshall and offices on-scene, police said.

Iaffaldano is charged with second-degree breach of peace, and two counts of assault on public safety personnel. He was released on a $2,500 bond and given a court date of Dec. 13.
