Man Broke Into Home, Assaulted Woman: Milford Police
The accused was initially ordered held in lieu of a $250,000 bond, police said.
MILFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man, Francisco Navarro, 37, of Kent Avenue was initially ordered held in lieu of a $250,000 bond, after police said he is accused of breaking into a home and assaulting a woman.
On Aug. 14, Milford police responded to a Pumpkin Delight address for a 911 call with a woman screaming in the background, police said. Investigation led to the arrest of Navarro who is accused of "kicking in a door before assaulting a female victim, threatening her, and causing damage in the home with two minors present," police said in a news release.
Navarro is also accused of resisting arrest and assaulting an officer, police said.

He is charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, first-degree burglary, two counts of risk of injury to a minor, second-degree threatening, third-degree criminal mischief, interfering with an officer, assault on an officer, and violation of probation.
