Man Burglarizes Milford Business Including Swiping Toilet Paper: Police
The accused told police that he worked for the company and had the owner's permission to take the items, but police say that isn't true.
MILFORD, CT — A man told police that he worked at a Milford company and had the owner's permission to take a generator from the site, but police say that wasn't true and the man has been arrested.
On Dec. 31 Milford police responded to a Quarry Road business on the report of a burglar alarm. Investigation led to the arrest of Calvin Conley, 55, of Quinnipiac Avenue, New Haven who was found attempting to strap a generator onto his 4-door sedan, police said.
Conley told officers on scene that he worked at the business and had permission to take the generator from the business owner, which was later found to be false, police said. Conley also stated that he would normally enter the building by prying the door open with a screw driver, which again was also found to be false, police said.
