Man Charged With Sexual Assault At Milford Mall: Police

Police say the accused bumped into the same woman twice, grabbing her buttocks. The woman was with her young child, police say.

MILFORD, CT — A New Haven man is accused of purposely bumping into the same woman twice and grabbing her buttocks, police said. At 5:30 p.m. on August 5 officers responded to 1201 Boston Post Road, Connecticut Post Mall, on the report of suspicious activity, police said.

A female stated to officers that while shopping with her six-year-old child at a mall kiosk, a male bumped into her, police said. When she turned around she noticed there was no reason for the man to bump her, but didn’t pay the interaction much attention, police said.

Shortly after, the male once again bumped into the female, this time more forceful and grabbed her buttocks, police said. The female turned around and believed the man purposefully bumped into her with his penis, police said.
