Man Damaged Mall Signs, Interfered With Arrest In Milford, Police Say

A man is facing several charges after a disturbance was reported at the mall over the weekend, according to police.

MILFORD, CT — A man was arrested and faces charges after police say he damaged signs throughout the Connecticut Post Mall.

The 20-year-old Bridgeport man was charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree criminal mischief, interfering with an officer, and second-degree failure to appear in court.

Police responded to a call Saturday at 7:40 p.m. reporting a man causing a disturbance at the mall.

Police said the man is accused of damaging signs throughout the mall and interfering with an officer attempting to make an arrest.

While he was in custody, police said they found he had an active warrant for his arrest out for failing to appear in court.

His bond was set at $10,500. He was scheduled to appear in court Monday.
