Man Charged After Displaying Handgun Inside Milford Mall: Police
Milford police say a domestic violence incident escalated Tuesday and the man allegedly displayed a gun on a mall security staff member.

Milford police say at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday officers responded to Westfield Connecticut Post mall at 1201 Boston Post Road on a report of a domestic violence incident.
Investigation led to the arrest of Donnie Langley, 20, of Alpine Street in Bridgeport who is accused of shoving and restraining a female he was arguing with, police said.
Langley was approached by mall security at which time he allegedly displayed a handgun to the security officer and then pushed him as he ran out of the mall door, police said.

Langley was located by police shortly thereafter still on mall property and was taken into custody.
A .40 caliber handgun was recovered from the wooded area Langley was hiding in and he is charged with first-degree threatening, second-degree unlawful restraint, carrying a pistol without a permit, interfering/resisting arrest, and second-degree breach of peace.

He remains held in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
