Man Hid Marijuana in His Pants: Milford Police
Police said they initially stopped the vehicle for a motor vehicle violation.

MILFORD, CT — A New Haven man is accused of concealing marijuana in his pants after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation in Milford, police said.
Police said on Sept. 19, officers stopped a vehicle for a motor vehicle violation in the area of Cherry Street near Sunnyside Court.
Investigation led to the arrest of Dante Pervis, 34, of Columbus Avenue, who was found to be in possession of marijuana, a scale and packaging materials, police said.

Pervis refused officers command on scene to remain still inside the vehicle, while he continued to attempt to conceal the marijuana in his pants, police said.
He is charged with possession of marijuana, possession with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, interfering/resisting arrest, and motor vehicle offenses.

Pervis was released on a promise to appear in court on Oct. 18.
