Man Hit Woman Inside Of Restaurant: Milford Police

MILFORD, CT — A Milford man is accused of hitting a woman inside of a local restaurant and then threatened to kill her, police said. On May 28, police responded to a Naugatuck Avenue restaurant on a report of a physical altercation, police said.

Investigation led to the arrest of Jeffrey Cancel, 50, of Naugatuck Avenue, who is accused of striking a woman inside of the restaurant and later threatening to kill her, police said.

He is charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree threatening.
