Stratford Man Kept Harassing Milford Rape Crisis Center: Police

The accused is charged with four counts of harassment.

MILFORD, CT — Police say a Stratford man is accused of repeatedly harassing the Milford Rape Crisis Center. On Aug. 8 police arrested William Bonitati, 58, of Mary Avenue in Stratford, on an active arrest warrant.

Bonitati is accused of repeatedly contacting the Milford Rape Crisis Center after being warned by police not to, due to the "harassing nature of his conversations," police said.

He is charged with four counts of second-degree harassment and was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, Milford on Sept. 4. (To sign up for Stratford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
