Man Resists Arrest in Milford, Tries to Flee: Police

The accused didn't get far and is being held on bond, police said.

MILFORD, CT — Police said a Shelton man resisted arrest in Milford after being taken into custody for several outstanding warrants for his arrest.

Milford police took custody of Andrzej Przybyszewski, 32, of Ridge Lane in Shelton, in regards to three active warrants for his arrest, police said.

Przybszewski is accused of failing to appear in court on Nov. 29 stemming from a narcotics and motor vehicle arrest in Stratford on Nov. 19, police said.

He is also accused of failing to appear in court on Nov. 23 stemming from a narcotics arrest in Shelton on June 2, police said.

When Milford police officers attempted to place Przybszewski in handcuffs he resisted and attempted to flee the scene, police said.

He is charged with three counts of second-degree failure to appear and interfering with arrest.

He is being held in lieu of $8,745.
