Man Shoplifts From 2 Stores At Milford Mall: Police

MILFORD, CT — A New Haven man is accused of shoplifting from both Victoria's Secret and Bath and Body Works, both at the Connecticut Post Mall, 1201 Boston Post Road, police said.

On Nov. 25, police responded to Victoria's Secret on a report of a shoplifter in custody, police said. Investigation led to the arrest of Jonathan McKinnie, 47, of Fountain Street, who is accused of attempting to take more than $500 worth of merchandise from the store without paying for it, police said.

During the investigation it was also discovered that McKinnie was in possession of about $200 worth of stolen goods from Bath and Body Works, police said.

He is charged with fifth and sixth-degree larceny.
