A man is facing a litany of charges after a domestic violence incident at a Milford hotel, according to police.

MILFORD, CT — A man was arrested earlier this month after he threatened to shoot and stab a victim while children were present, according to police.

Police were dispatched to a Milford hotel for a domestic violence incident March 3.

Police found the victim who said the man threatened her and abused her several times over the weekend.

The New Haven man also threatened to shoot and stab the victim with children present, police said.

He was taken into custody and police found he had a large quantity of drugs including cocaine, ecstasy/methamphetamine, and marijuana.

He initially provided his brother's name to police officers.

He was charged with threatening, disorderly conduct, risk of injury to a minor, criminal impersonation, interfering with an officer, possession of narcotics, and possession of narcotics with intent to sell. He was held on $2,500 bond.

There were also four warrants out for his arrest, all for failing to appear in court, with a total bond of $310,000. He was held on bond and arraigned on March 5.
