Mark Tahmin, 70, passed away on August 11, 2024.

He was an avid traveler who enjoyed exploring new places, as well as a dedicated fisherman and hunter who cherished the outdoors.

Mark Tahmin, 70, of Milford, beloved husband of nearly 30 years to Arlene Tahmin, passed away on August 11, 2024. Born on May 21, 1954 in the Bronx, he was the son of the late Gus and Kitty Tahmin.

Mark was a vibrant and dynamic individual known for his Type A personality. A true "man's man," he reveled in activities that embraced his love for the hands-on and adventurous from hammering and sawing to wielding a chainsaw. He was an avid traveler who enjoyed exploring new places, as well as a dedicated fisherman and hunter who cherished the outdoors. His adventurous spirit also led him to a passion for pottery, a hobby he pursued with creativity. Mark’s interests extended into collecting, with a keen eye for guitars, guns, and pottery.

Along with his wife, Mark leaves behind his siblings, Peter and Tone Anita Tahmin, Robert Tahmin, Catherine Tahmin, Khris Tahmin, and Carrie Tahmin; nieces and nephews, Ian, Claudine, Kia Karina, and Nikolai; his beloved cat, Ruby; and many good friends.
