Mary A. Mahieu of Milford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at her home. Mary was born June 7, 1930 in Wetumpka, Alabama to the late Donald and Frances Ahrens.
Mary worked as a Supervisor for Southern New England Telephone Company for 40 years. She then earned her Real Estate License and started a second career with Ditchkus Realtors in Milford.
Mary belonged to several groups including Aircraft Owners Association, Association of Realtors, and SNET Pioneers Group. Mary earned her pilot’s license, owned her own plane, and would fly herself to New York and visit her family.

Mary leaves several nieces and nephews to treasure her memory. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her siblings: Fred, Paul, Franklin, Jane, and Ruth.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 22, 2025 from 9:30am – 10:30am at the DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford with a Funeral Service to begin at 10:30am. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
