Though her roots were in New York, she embraced Milford as her home, cherishing its welcoming community and serene beach walks.

Maryann G. Glynn, 82 of Milford, passed away on December 12, 2024, in Milford CT. Maryann was born on May 18, 1942, in White Plains, NY to the late Joseph and Catherine Griffin. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Glynn.
Maryann dedicated over 30 years of her career to Purdue Frederick Pharmaceutical Co., steadily advancing to the role of administrative assistant. Though her roots were in New York, she embraced Milford as her home, cherishing its welcoming community and serene beach walks.
Fondly called "Auntie" by many, whether related or not, she was admired for her kindness and emotional strength. Maryann was a lover of animals, with a special fondness for dogs. In her free time, she enjoyed sitting down with a nice cup of coffee and an enticing book. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, as reflected in her years as a devoted parishioner of St. Gabriel Parish.

Maryann is survived by her cousin Edward Fitzgerald (Heather) of Brewster NY, niece Lindsay Plavnicky (Richard) of Newtown CT, nephew Edward Fitzgerald Jr. of Brewster NY, her niece Linda Gilbert (Butch) of Milford CT, their children Bill the 4th(Courtney), Bonnie (Bill North), Trisha(Stash) Kozloski of Milford CT, her niece Melanie Kmetz (Robert), their children Sydney and Colby Kmetz of Milford CT, her nephew BJ Stevenson and his daughter Rachel of Milford CT. As well as many additional beloved family and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, Maryann is predeceased by her two brothers Joseph Griffin and James Griffin.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday December 21st, 2024, for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gabriel Parish (26 Broadway, Milford, CT 06460) at 10 a.m. (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH).
