Marylou Driscoll

1949-2024

Marylou Driscoll, loving sister, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend, of Milford, CT, passed away peacefully on October, 20th, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 11, 1949 in Concord, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edward F. and Louise P. Driscoll.

Marylou was a graduate of Lauralton Hall and attended Albertus Magnus College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Mathematics. Marylou began working as a waitress at age 16 at Perkin's Pancake House (soon to be known as Chip's) in Orange, CT, and remained there for the next 37 years, becoming the manager and eventually co-owner until 2003. She then continued on as an Accounting Manager for CadCom Inc., an aerospace machining company in Milford until her retirement. Marylou was an avid reader and loving caregiver to everyone. In her free time, she enjoyed time spent with her nieces/nephews and great-nieces/nephews. She loved to travel with her favorite aunts and cousins to MA, Nantucket and Ireland.

Marylou is survived by her siblings, Kathleen (Mark) Hoffman, Marc (Deena) Driscoll and Carol (Dennis) Buckman; nieces and nephews, Timothy (Katie) Hoffman, Kristin (Chris) Horvath, Cory (Ben) Sykas, Thomas, Gina and AnneMarie Driscoll, Dennis Buckman Jr., and William (Emily) Buckman; and great nieces and nephews, Kylie Hoffman, Murphy Sykas, and Asher and Makenna Buckman.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, November 3, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment to follow at Saint Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CT Hospice, Branford, CT.
