Michael N. Tutino, Sr., 79, of Orange, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026, while surrounded by his loving family at his home. Michael was born on March 20, 1947, to the late Rocco Tutino and Linda Pavia Tutino. Beloved husband of the late JoAnn Kalaha Tutino, who was the love of his life.

Michael’s mother, Linda, passed when he was young and he was raised with care and devotion by his father and stepmother, Maria. At a young age, Michael began working with his father in the family business, Rocky’s Fuel Company. As co-owner and operator from 1960 to 2010 working alongside his brother Anthony and later his youngest son Jamie, Michael devoted himself to the business and his community before fully retiring in 2016. He also proudly served his country in the United States Army, stationed in Germany during peacetime.

Outside of his work, Michael found great joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. He had a deep love for baseball, coaching his children in Little League and remaining a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox. He had a special place in his heart for animals, especially the huskies he rescued over the years, including his loyal companion Dakota and his grand dog Nico. Above all, Michael cherished his role as “Poppy” to his adored grandson Evan, who brought him endless pride and happiness. A steady and humble presence, he was the anchor of his family, leading with compassion, respect, and quiet strength.
