Milford Abduction Foiled Wednesday, Suspect Sought: PD

MILFORD, CT — Milford Police are asking the public's help to identify the suspect in a would-be abduction. A 19-year-old woman was on break behind Whole Foods on the Post Road Wednesday around 12:45 p.m. when she was approached by a man in an older white van or SUV.

The suspect grabbed the woman by the arm in an attempt to get her in the vehicle, police said. She was able to free herself and retreat to the store where she called police.

The man is described as a white male with gray hair and a beard. He is approximately 50-years-old. Anyone with information is asked to contact Milford Police.
