Milford Announces February's Employees of the Month

CONGRATULATIONS to NANCY EISLER & JANET MIZAK for being selected as Milford Employees of the Month for February 2015.

As the recipients of the award for the Mayor’s Employee of the Month Program, please join us in extending a warm congratulations in receiving this recognition.

After a review of all of the nominations the Selection Committee unanimously selected this team from the Health Department as the winners for continually going above and beyond to ensure that the MHD staff are supported from a clerical perspective.

Over the last several months the Milford Health Department has gone through transitions and has a vacancy in the clerical team, Nancy & Janet have consistently performed well and stepped in to fill the gaps.

Nancy began her employment with the City of Milford on April 25, 2005, and has been with the Health Department since October of 2006. Janet’s employment with the City began on October 28, 2009 and in July of 2011, she transferred to the Health Department.

The Milford Health Department plays a central role in providing essential public health services in the community. The Health Department works every day to ensure the safety of the water we drink, the food we eat and the air we breathe. The Health Department is a efficient organization with a far reaching mission. Nancy and Janet have proven to be integral to the efficient operation of the department.

Nancy and Janet go above and beyond in their efforts to support the Health Department staff. Their ability to proficiently multitask and willingness to fill in wherever needed are significant attributes that they possess. Their positive attitude, excellent team spirit and commitment to serving the public are unparalleled. These are just a few of the many reasons the Mayor is pleased to bestow this honor on Nancy & Janet for their outstanding work performance, dedication and continued service to the City of Milford.
