MILFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Milford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

A Milford man was arrested March 27 following a domestic violence investigation. He was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree strangulation. Police said he is accused of choking another family member during an argument. Bond was set at $500.

A Milford man was arrested March 29 following a domestic violence incident. He was charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree assault on an elderly person. Police said he is accused of punching a family member in the face. Bond was set at $7,500.

A New York man was arrested March 29 after police responded to Walmart on Boston Post Road for a disturbance. He was charged with second-degree breach of peace and is accused of chasing people inside the store. He was released on a promise to appear in court.

A New Haven man was arrested March 30 on a warrant charging second-degree failure to appear. Police said he failed to appear in court on a previous date. Bond was set at $4,500.

A Milford man was arrested March 30 following a domestic violence investigation. He was charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and carrying a pistol without a permit. Police said he is accused of punching the victim multiple times and was found in possession of a firearm without a permit. Bond was set at $50,000.

A woman was arrested March 30 after a shoplifting complaint at Target on Boston Post Road. She was charged with sixth-degree larceny and is accused of stealing $151.52 worth of merchandise. She was released on a promise to appear in court.

A New Hampshire man was arrested April 1 after a motor vehicle accident near Woodmont Road and Banner Drive. He was charged with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to maintain proper lane. Police said he was operating under the influence of drugs and was found in possession of crack cocaine and pipes. Bond was set at $500.

A Milford man was arrested April 1 on a warrant charging violation of a protective order. Police said he is accused of contacting a protected party in February. He was released on a promise to appear in court.

A Stratford woman was arrested April 1 on a warrant charging sixth-degree larceny. Police said she is accused of stealing $278.89 worth of merchandise from Big Y in December. She was released on a promise to appear in court.

A Milford man was arrested April 1 after a shoplifting complaint at Target on Boston Post Road. He was charged with sixth-degree larceny and is accused of stealing $293.14 worth of merchandise. He was released on a promise to appear in court.

A Milford man was arrested April 2 on a warrant following a domestic violence investigation. He was charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree threatening. Police said he is accused of threatening a family member in March. Bond was set at $15,000.

A New Haven man was arrested April 2 on a warrant charging engaging police in pursuit. Bond was set at $1,000.

An Orange man was arrested April 2 after a disturbance at Cinemark on Boston Post Road. He was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief. Police said he is accused of causing a disturbance during an argument and kicking a police vehicle door, causing damage. He was released on a promise to appear in court.

A Milford woman was arrested April 2 following a domestic violence investigation. She was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault. Police said she is accused of hitting a family member in the face with a cell phone during an argument. She was released on a promise to appear in court.
