MILFORD, CT — Here are the arrests Milford police made recently:

  • Police responded to Boscov's at the mall on a report of shoplifting May 11. A Meriden man was accused of stealing $497.98 worth of merchandise from the store. He was charged with sixth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in court.
  • Police responded to a domestic dispute May 12. A Milford man was accused of pushing two victims to the ground multiple times and shoving one in the face. Two children were present during the alleged crime. The man was charged with two counts each of disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, and risk of injury to a minor. Bond was set at $2,500.
  • Police responded to a Cherry Street address on a report of a motor vehicle accident May 12. Police found a Milford man nearby who had left the scene of the crash. He was charged with driving under the influence, evading responsibility, and unsafe backing. Bond was set at $500.
  • Police took custody of an Orange woman May 13 on an active arrest warrant. She is accused of threatening a customer while working at a Boston Post Road restaurant. She was charged with disorderly conduct and released on a promise to appear in court.
  • Police took custody of a Milford woman May 15 on an active arrest warrant. She is accused of assaulting a victim by hitting her, physically restraining her, and threatening her on multiple occasions. She was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and one count each of third-degree assault, third-degree strangulation, unlawful restraint, second-degree threatening, and second-degree harassment. Bond was set at $7,500.
